I've owned my Green Power KPE 1304 Juicer for over 18 months now. Our family juices 3-4 times a week and we like to think of ourselves as seasoned pro's.



We juice wheatgrass on a regular basis and found that the machine works flawlessly making pretty much all juices. Our family is very health conscience and wanted a juicer that would make our favorite juices, be easy to clean and last a couple days before going bad, that is if we don't drink it all that same day.



I researched many different juicers including the Green Star and the Green Power Gold and learned that these models where a much older design from the mid 90's which has not been updated and had a few drawbacks. The Green Power 1304 is the latest design and I am telling you this because I was initially completely confused as Tribest tried to tell me that the Green Star and Green Power Gold where the latest and best models available which was completely untrue.



I contacted Kitchen's Best customer service and kept the kind lady on the phone with all of my silly questions for well over half an hour. I really appreciated the time that she spent with me. I really do not like to be "sold" over the phone and I clearly felt that she just wanted to help me find the right juicer. She e-mailed me the Green Power history chart which clearly showed the evolution of the Green Power/Green Star Juicers which was very helpful.



Our family totally loves the juicer! The kids enjoy having fun creating different juices and clean up is fairly easy if you clean it right away.



I highly recommend the juicer and the company's customer service is always fantastic. I have now purchased multiple times from this company and it has been a great experience. 2 years after my original review the juicer is still working well. You will need a little more muscle to juice carrots if carrots are hard but the work is worth the juice you receive.



You get what you pay for is very real with juicers. I have been juicing for more than 10 years and have graduated from centrifical force juicers to masticating to the Green Power. It is everything it says it is. My family juices daily. This juicer is definitely quieter than all other juicers we have used. The juice has less pulp than other juicers we have used as well a better tasting juice (even with mediocre carrots). Cleaning the juicer is the easiest of all juicers we have had. Being used to the simple cheap spin models, I was put off when I saw all the parts that came with this juicer. However, once I took a minute to look through their instructions manual, it became clear how it all goes together. The reason it looks like so many parts is that there are different nozzles and stuff for the different functions of the machine. The manual has very good color pictures and illustrations so they made it pretty simple, even for someone who (like me) hates reading through manuals.



Much quieter than my spin model, for sure, and the pulp came out much drier as well. Specially with the cucumbers. I was used to having a wet sloppy mess being left over when I tried to juice cucumbers- not so with this juicer.



It looks very sturdy and well put together, and disassembling it and cleaning it (in the kitchen sink, not the dishwasher) took me 3 minutes in all. Not bad.

I am a huge juicer. Every morning my wife and I juice. We noticed that our juiceman jr was not efficiently juicing our green vegies. It was wasting 90% of them. The green veggies (expensive I might add) went right into the plastic bin hardly touched. I went to Jamba Juice and they explained how an auger presses the green juices - and, that's what Jamba uses for their wheat grass....well, the rest is history. I did my homework and found out that augers are more efficient just like Jamba explained. And, kitchens best walked me through the entire thing. Plus, they offered a 90 day money back warranty. They are incredibly nice and I can't believe they offer that kind of awesome money back gaurantee. Anyway, they are RIGHT about the juicer - it absolutely presses out 95% more green juice than the Jack Lalane and Juice man Jr. styles..and it does a better job on apples, ginger, and everything else too. The ONLY down side is - it's a slower process. But, in life - you can't have everything. I would much rather take a minute or two more each day and get my monies worth out of the fruits and veggies I buy than to speed through it and waste my food. Also, I seriously think it tastes better too!! Reason being, the other style spins it so fast - I swear it tasted "burned" sometimes. The Samson seems sweeter and more mellow. Anyway, trust me - you won't go wrong with this juicer or this company. Lovely company. Fair price too. Nobody offers a 90 day warranty...not even KMART OR WALLMART!! Nuff said. Our Samson Single Gear Juicer - GB-9001 arrived yesterday. I bought it to juice wheatgrass but since our sprouts haven't grown up enough to juice, I went through the refrigerator looking for things to juice. I combined several fruits and veggies and was amazed at how quickly and clean the whole operation went. The apple-ginger-lemon-celery combo was tasty indeed.



The juicer looks industrial strength, but could also win awards for a beautiful design. It's solidly built and works quietly. Just got the juicer today and its fantastic. BUT there are two things I have to mention. First, yes it does make great nut butters but invest in a baby bottle brush to clean all the tubes because it makes a mess. Second, when making nut butters do not force feed the nuts. I jammed the auger part by putting to many in at a time. Using peanuts, try 5 or 6 at a time. Took me 20 min. to un-jam the auger had to use a hammer (ugg) to punch it out. Other than that its the best juicer I've had.

My manual Hurricane juicer gets a better yield than the lexen. I bought this juicer due to budget concerns, but I should have just saved my money. I juiced a 10x20 tray this am and had 1 1/2 oz of juice! I juiced 3 bunches with my manual and had 3/4 oz! Do your research!

We recently received our juicer and are dissatisfied with our purchase. We felt compelled to write a review as we had also read the reviews here as part of our decision to buy this Lexen juicer. While this juicer is easy to clean, our complaint is the juicer produces a significantly low yield. In all fairness here is a quote from the juicer manual as to the expected procedure for getting the best yeild from the juicer:



"Step 5 - Take the pulp from the first pressing and place it back into the juicing Chamber as the first pressing is usually a bit moist until the pressure has been built up in the mechanism. If at any time the grass becomes wrapped around the auger or stuck in the juicing body. Press the off button and then use the reverse button to unclog, then press the on button again to resume juicing."



We experienced low yield with not just wheat grass but in juicing carrot, celery and spinach. We've resolved to using our other juicer because the yield is significantly greater.

In other words, after we found that the yield was not worth the money in food product or time in producing the same yield as our other juicer, we are not able to return this product.

that electric Healthy Juicer is just great, and not so expensive like others. I have it second month and works like a charm.

Quite, efficient and cleaning is just 2 minutes!!! I tested this out. I definitelly recommend it.

I've tried some other juicers like the Juiceman and wasn't very happy with it. I needed to juice wheatgrass but also wanted to juice fruits and veggies but had a limited budget. I hadn't heard of Lexen before and found out it was fairly new - but I went out on a limb and tried it out.



Overall - I must say I love it. The cleanup is a breeze and my friend has a Samson so we compared cleanup (had a juicer war!). I definatley won that one. We did a comparison on the yield too and hers won slightly but not much.



What I like about this vs my old juiceman (and even from what I read the other juicers of this type in the market) is that it doesnt have a screen inside to clean which is pretty much why I won the cleaning contest ;-)
